Students with Disabilities
Liberty University School of Law is committed to offering all students with disabilities the same opportunities to prepare for and succeed in the legal profession. To that end, the Office of Student Affairs works closely with individual students to provide and coordinate support services that will create the best possible learning environment. These services are available to students with a wide variety of disabilities, which include all long-term disabilities as well as those that are temporary due to illness or injury.
In addition, since Liberty University School of Law is committed to ensuring equal treatment of people with disabilities, the Office of Student Affairs works closely with the University’s Office of Disability Academic Support. The directors of both departments work together to implement and coordinate reasonable accommodations for both testing and classroom environments.
Prospective as well as current students are encouraged to learn more about our services by contacting the Director of Student Affairs as early as possible so that the most effective plan of accommodation may be developed.
For information on how to apply for disability accommodations, please view the Liberty University School of Law Student Handbook.
