BIO

Janet K. McClelland, Cataloging and Metadata Supervisor for Ehrhorn Law Library, joined the staff in 2004 after serving Wycliffe Bible Translators’ Summer Institute of Linguistics for 23 years in Texas, North Africa, the Philippines, and Australia.  She previously served as a Registered Occupational Therapist at Baylor University Medical Center.  McClelland earned a Bachelor of Science in Clothing and Textiles/Fashion Merchandising at the University of North Texas and a Master of Occupational Therapy at Texas Women’s University.  She also received linguistics training for two years in which she studied language learning, phonetics, phonology, grammatical analysis, literacy, and anthropology at the Texas Summer Institute of Linguistics; and French language training at L’Ecole de Commerce in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
