How to Map a Molly Drive

Liberty University offers all residential students, faculty, and staff space on the Molly storage server.
Personal Molly benefits include:

Data is backed up both nightly and weekly.

Accessible from any computer on campus.

Faculty/Staff can access Molly off-campus using VPN.

Secure storage, accessible only to you.
Departmental Molly benefits include:

Data is backed up both nightly and weekly.

Accessible to authorized users on campus and off campus using VPN.

Access can be granted to student workers.
-
Different levels of access can be granted, including read only access.

Departments can manage their own shares using Shared Drive Management.
Policies

Resident students are allocated 100mb for academic usage

Data stored on Molly should be in compliance with our acceptable usage policy.

Students are advised that the University cannot take responsibility for data on Molly and are advised to make their own backups using CD-Rs, flash drives, etc.

Data on residential shares is only saved thru final exam week of that semester. Students can re-create their Molly drive at the beginning of the next semester.

If you do not accept these policies, you will not be alloted space on the Molly server.
