Ronald E. Hawkins, D.Min., Ed.D.

Dr. Hawkins serves on the Executive Board for the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is a pastor, author and frequent presenter at AACC’s regional and national conferences, Marriage and Family Conferences, Christian Camps, and Men’s Retreats.  Dr. Hawkins has authored Strengthening Marital Intimacy and The Quick Reference Guide to Biblical Counseling with Dr. Tim Clinton. He is a contributing author to such recent publications as The Hope in Winter, Totally SufficientThe Complete Marriage Manual, and Christian Counseling Today.  A diploma graduate of Davis Bible College, Dr. Hawkins has a B.A. from Barrington College, an M. Div. from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, a D. Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary, an Education Specialist degree from Lynchburg College and an Ed. D. from Virginia Tech.  He and his wife Peggy live in Lynchburg, Virginia and are the parents of four children.

Jennifer Griffin

Majoring in Psychology with a minor in Health Promotions, Jennifer earned her B.S. from Liberty University in 2005. Currently, she is working towards a Counseling degree in the Liberty University Online program. After graduating from her undergraduate work from Liberty, Jennifer worked at a treatment center as a counselor for children with behavioral and emotional disorders. This challenging but very rewarding work led her to pursue further education as she looks forward to learning more about how to help lead people to a healthy life in Christ. Before becoming Dr. Hawkins’ assistant, Jennifer worked in Academic Support and with the LUO Office of Disability.

D. Kate Calland

Kate Calland began her career at Liberty University as the Intensive Coordinator for the Distance Learning Program in 2001.  In 2006 she joined the Office of Institutional Effectiveness as the Director of Academic Operations, where she is responsible for calculating and tracking faculty workload.  Prior to joining Liberty University, Kate served four years in the Air Force.

Tabitha Hibbard

Tabitha received her B.S. in 2006 from Liberty University with a multidisciplinary degree in Business and Religion.  Currently, she is working towards her Masters in Divinity through Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.  Previously, Tabitha attended and worked at Word of Life Bible Institute and finished her undergraduate degree while interning there.  She and her husband Robb moved to Lynchburg in 2009; Tabitha was looking to further her education and Robb’s desire to be a pastor led them to Liberty.  Tabitha and Robb are actively involved in their church and love ministering to college students in the Lynchburg area.
