ILRC Quiet Room Policy

The entire ILRC is considered an academic facility. Failure to conduct oneself appropriately can result in discipline. The purpose of the reserved "Quiet Rooms" is to provide students with a quiet area in which they are able to remain focused without any distractions. Everyone must follow the policy below when using the quiet rooms.

• Refrain from:
  • Unnecessary noise
  • Conversations
  • Cell phone usage
  • Activities that may disturb others
• Remain considerate of other students using the quiet rooms

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in ILRC personnel asking you to leave the Quiet Room. The open labs and other classrooms will maintain an environment conducive to studying while still allowing for group oriented academic activities to occur.
