Employees enrolled in the program who are out on STD will receive the equivalent of their full salary for the first four weeks of their leave, jointly paid by the insurance company and the university.  Short-term disability pays 60% of an employee’s weekly wages up to $1,000 per week.

In addition, an enrolled employee’s coverage will include long-term disability (LTD) coverage. If an employee is out for six months, he/she will begin receiving 60% of their base pay, up to $7,500, upon approval.
