Department of Biology & Chemistry
The Liberty University Department of Biology & Chemistry prepares men and women for careers in biology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, environmental biology, zoology and medicine. Each program is taught within a Biblical worldview and every lab is taught by professors.
Our programs prepare students for graduate school, professional schools (medical, veterinary, dental, etc.), and immediate employment in workforce. In addition to outstanding classroom instruction in our “smart classrooms,” you will receive training in the latest laboratory techniques using state-of-the-art equipment. Because you train directly under your professors, rather than graduate students or teaching assistants, you will be exceptionally prepared to succeed in professional school or graduate school.
