It is Spiritual Emphasis Week here at Liberty University and a good time to take inventory of our walk with Christ. Why not consider what the Lord has done and talk about it?
What has the Lord done for you? For me, He brought me out of a life of discouragement and hopelessness to a life of joy and hope. He did it. Completely.
What else has He done?
He has loved each one of us. John 3:16-17 reads, "16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
He has removed our sin completely and sufficiently. Psalm 103:12 reads, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."
He has taken our place. 1 Corinthians 15:3 reads, "For what I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures."
Jesus speaks to the Father on our behalf. 1 John 2:1 reads, "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."
Take a moment and comment on this blog. We want to hear what God has done for you. Please keep the comment brief and know that we'll only be able to display an edited version of your comment. Let's point each one to Christ.
