Fa La La La La! It's Christmas Time!

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, here at Liberty! There's a tree at Demoss that's swell. One in Hancock as well. It's the sturdy kind that doesn't mind the crowd..."

A beautiful Christmas tree in the Hancock Welcome Center

Welcome to the most wonderful time of the year at Liberty University. The trees... the lights...the CHRISTMAS COFFEEHOUSE. It's spectacular. Busy, but spectacular. Only two weeks left of school and things are getting a little "cray cray," to say the least. From final projects, to 20 page papers and every final in between, it's getting real up in here. Crunch time.

After a not-so-relaxing 20 hour drive back to Virginia from Thanksgiving break, I sat down to plan. Planning is my life. It's how I stay sane. So, from now to next Friday I have 1) two 20 page team papers, 2) one 10 page team paper, 3) one Psychology quiz, 4) Math homework and exam, 5) one 5 page team case study, 6) one final Business 464 presentation...and then there's the activities that I MUST attend. It's only tradition. So I found this schedule...

5 Activities and 6 homework projects in less than two weeks? Challenge accepted. But really, going to events like Christmas Convo and the annual lighting of the Christmas tree make all of it worthwhile (Yes, getting an "A" at the end of the semester does that too). Here's just a tast of some things that go down at these hip-hoppin' events. I call this one "Christmas Coffeehouse at its finest."
