You Spoke. We Listened.

The ILRC is always trying hard to fulfill the most common requests that it recieves. Below are a few of the many changes that we made to our facilities over the summer break.

In response to requests for more electrical outlets and study spaces.

The ILRC has created new study spaces in response to requests for more outlets and more places for quiet study.

  • 1st floor: Four person study circles have space for small groups to collaborate without disturbing those around them. Combination notebook counters and half circles provide additional room for small groups and individual laptop use.  These new spaces are equipped with electrical outlets.
  • 2nd floor: In the back computer lab six person study circles are surrounded by walls with notebook counters – each with electrical outlets.
  • 3rd floor: A variety of shapes provide much additional work space for students on this floor. Combination notebook counters and half circles provide additional room for small groups and individual laptop usenext to the quick hit stations. Two curved and a pinwheel-shaped structure in the open floor area adds a large number of notebook counters with available electricity.

In response to requests for more print books

  • The Administration of Liberty University has approved an additional $280,000.00 for the purchase of print books. These titles will be ordered and added throughout the remaining academic year.
