Michael P. Gerringer

Director of Technical Production and Media Systems

Mike Gerringer serves as the Director of Audio Systems and Technical Production, as well as being the Director of Audio for Jerry Falwell Ministries.  He has served in some capacity in this ministry for over 15 years.  He and his wife Kristen have two children (Sarah and Ethan).


Andrew M. Bolton

General Manager

Andrew serves as our General Manager. He has been with Technical Production since 2006. Andy and his wife Marie have one child, Graden born in 2007.

Nina Williamson Baker

Office Assistant
 

Nina Baker serves as the Office Manager, handling the budget, purchasing and shipping. She also assists in payroll, customer service, and event coordination. Nina joined the Technical Production team in August 2007 as a production technician, and was recently married in May of 2011.

 


Charles Johnson

Media Systems Integration Manager

Charles is the Media System Manager and is responsible for all installed media systems on campus as well as media resources.  He designs, installs, programs and maintains all of our media systems on campus. Charles is married to Megan and they have two children.


David Diamond

Special Project Manager

David has been part of the Technical Production team since 2002. He currently serves as our Special Projects Manager. He has completed projects such as the Tower Theater, Williams Stadium Press Box and Coffeehouse. David also serves as lighting designer and CAD technician for the department. His passion include music, sound, lighting and video.  David and Claire have been married since 2006 and have one daughter, Julia.


Owen Baker 

Video/Graphics Technician

Owen has been with Technical Production since 2008. His past experience as a student worker mainly involved audio and lighting design. Currently, he serves as the Video Technician, directing many of the university's broadcasted events throughout the year, including Convocation, Campus Church, athletic events and Coffeehouse. His responsibilities also involve creating and coordinating graphics and animations for such events. Owen is also a part time student, working toward a B.S. in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. His two sisters are also attending Liberty University, while his parents and brother are living in Astoria, Oregon with their pet bobcat, Tonka. Owen and his wife, Nina, were married in May of 2011.

Austin Carr

Installation Technician

Austin came to Liberty University in 2006 pursuing a BA in Religion. He then began working for Technical Productions in 2008 and moved to the Installation side of Technical Productions in 2010.  Austin and his wife, Brooke were married in May 2011. Austin and Brooke are both from Florida. 


Kyle M. Breen

Media Specialist

Kyle manages the media content for the University that is displayed on iTunes U and on the Liberty University Media Page. In addition he is responsible for the post-editing and management of athletic events and Convocations. Kyle joined the Technical Production team in 2010 and has been married to Renee since 2007.


Tysen Bowling

Technician

Tysen Bowling grew up outside of Atlanta, GA, has his B.S. in Business Finance, and is currently working on an MBA in International Business. Tysen has been with Technical Production since May 2010. He acts as the lead audio engineer and runs front of house for all major live production events on campus.


 

Ben McKenzie

Technician/Programmer

Ben grew up in Williamsburg, VA and then moved to Appomattox, VA with his family when they came to Liberty.  He is now attending Liberty in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. He joined Technical Production his first semester at Liberty and has since moved from production work to instillation and classroom maintenance.
