Mrs. Howard began teaching at Liberty University in August, 1988. She teaches courses in Textiles: Fibers & Fabrics, Design and Construction for Apparel I and II, Fashion Industry, Specialty Fashion Markets, Draping for Apparel Design, and Housing. Mrs. Howard is the Faculty Advisor and Coordinator for the FACS Department’s annual spring fashion show; Faculty Advisor for the LU-FACS Student Association; Coordinates the New York City fashion industry study tour; and is the Faculty Coordinator for FACS student internships.
Mrs. Howard married her husband, David, in 1990, and has three children: Jonathan, Anna, and Rebekah. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, scrap-booking, and canning their home-grown vegetables.
