Liberty is Fully Accredited Regionally and Nationally

In higher education, the principal means of ensuring quality is accreditation by a recognized accrediting body or agency. 

Liberty University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), an accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. Additionally, a number of specific programs are approved by accrediting and licensing bodies for specific disciplines (i.e. our Nursing, Sport Management, and Education programs).
