About the SAO

The Student Advocate Office (SAO) is a "one-stop" office for answers to all your questions.

It is normal for college students to have questions about financial aid, housing, account holds, balances, personal issues and roommate conflicts. We serve as a liaison for you to other departments to help you get your questions answered.

Our primary focus is to help each resident student from their first day at Liberty to graduation – whether through problem solving, peer counseling, one-on-one appointments, financial aid guidance, scholarship assistance or just a helping hand and listening ear, we are here for you.

November 2014 Announcements

Priority Program

The Student Advocate Office is giving away $60,000 in scholarships for the 2015 Spring Semester. We will be giving away sixteen $1,750 scholarships and sixteen $2,000 scholarships. In order to be entered into the running to receive a scholarship, you will need to complete class registration on or before November 15th, and complete Financial Check-in before December 1st. Financial Check-in Deadline

The Financial Check-in deadline is right around the corner! In order to secure your classes and housing assignment (if applicable), complete Check-in by the deadline of December 5th, 2014. If you're stuck, need help, or some resources for finances, please connect with Financial Aid, Student Accounts, or the Student Advocate Office. We're here to help!
