Choosing a major is one of the most important decisions within your college career; however, the average college student changes their degree three times before graduation! In order to choose the best major for you, you need to have the best information about the degree and yourself.

As you consider choosing your degree, you should begin with our free career exploration assessment, FOCUS 2. Students who use FOCUS 2 will discover their talents and interests which allow them to choose a major that fits who they are and helps them to succeed in their academic courses. Students have gone from academic probation to excellence just by changing their major to match their unique interests and talents.

It does not matter if you are a transfer student unsure of where to start, an underclassman adjusting to college life, or an upperclassman about to walk across the graduation stage. You may be a career-changer, military or veteran, retired, or just going back to school.  Regardless of your situation, we are here to assist you in making sure that you have the right information in choosing the best major. Look over our degree completion plans at the right side of this web site; take the FOCUS 2 career exploration assessment; and then talk with your academic advisor and schedule an appointment with one of our career counselors today.
