LU Health Services

Light Medical and Counseling Associates, Inc. is a family and occupational medical service available to all students, staff and faculty at Liberty University. The facility serves the campus community with a distinctively Christian medical practice. The office is located on Liberty University's campus in the Health Services Building (434-582-2514) and 2811 Linkhorne Drive (434-384-1581) in Lynchburg, Virginia. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed for lunch between 12:00 p.m. through 1:30 p.m.

After office hours, the doctor on call can be reached for emergencies by calling 434-384-1581. Gregg R. Albers, MD and Richard A. Lane, MD, MPH & TM have rotating office hours at each office. Medical services are available on a fee basis and payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa and Mastercard). To minimize your wait, services are by appointment only.
