Parish Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing open to registered nurses promoting health, healing and wholeness within a faith community. Health is viewed from a whole-person perspective- body, spirit and mind. Parish Nurses are professional nurses responding to a "calling" in which ministry shapes the nursing practice.

 
The Parish Nurse serves as:

* Health Educator
* Care Coordinator
* Community Resource Agent
* Program Manager
