Liberty University’s Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program exists to commission lieutenants for the Army and provide leadership development for Liberty students. This residential program offers several specialized programs and tracks of study for students interested in serving as leaders in the U.S. Army. Students are also able to participate in Air Force ROTC through a partnership with the University of Virginia - Charlottesville.

Army ROTC Scholarships:
In addition to the national scholarship program that awards three and four-year scholarships to individuals graduating from high school, Liberty University also offers two and three-year campus based scholarships for students that are already full-time Liberty students attending military science classes. Green to Gold:
The Army Green to Gold program provides eligible active duty enlisted soldiers an opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree or graduate degree and be commissioned as Army officers upon receiving the appropriate degrees. Army ROTC Nursing:
The Army ROTC Nursing program provides an opportunity for Cadets to gain practical nursing experience while receiving financial assistance for college. Nursing majors are able to compete for 2-, 3-, or 4- year scholarships. Visit the Army ROTC Nursing website for more information.
Liberty University students have the opportunity to join AFROTC (Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps) Detachment 890, which is based out of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. AFROTC is a training program that prepares college students to become officers in the United States Air Force. Students work with Detachment 890 to qualify for a commission in the Air Force while simultaneously completing their university undergraduate degree requirements.
