First, and foremost Dr. Johnson believes that no matter what our calling or where God has us, it should be an opportunity to share who His is, life is ministry.

Dr. Johnson has worked at Liberty University for 5 years as professor, coordinator of New Student Seminar and special projects for CASAS. Previously, she ministered for 7 years at Word of Life Bible Institute, New York as administrator of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness while advising and coordinating study help programs for students with learning disabilities. Dr. Johnson has taught for 18 years in various academic intuitions; including four years as full-time professor and resident manager of a home management house at San Diego Christian College; San Diego, CA. and was subsequently appointed chairperson of the department. Dr. Johnson developed and implemented a career/guidance curriculum and program for emotionally and socially challenged young people in the Minnick Learning Center, Roanoke, VA. A favorite position was Ombudsman for the U.S. Navy Admiral Staff in Jacksonville, FL. for 5 years. As life is ministry, she has been actively involved for over 40 years in AWANA, WOL clubs, camps; women and youth leadership ministries.
