Under construction, the new medical library housed in the Center for Medical and Health Sciences, will offer invaluable education support to the students and faculty. The Medical Library will occupy more than 7,500 square-feet and will contain fifteen semi-private study rooms, with more than 80 individual study carrels and expansive seating areas for relaxation and study.
This new facility will have extensive holdings available both electronically and in print, which includes multiple licenses for required and recommended journals, and texts, that support the curriculum.
The medical library will be accessible to students, staff, and faculty an average of 16 hours each day, seven days a week, with available library staff who are willing to help with any research requests.
Additional books and journals are accessible from the Jerry Falwell Library on main campus, and the Ehrhorn Law Library located in the School of Law in Green Hall; these resources are also available through a campus-wide delivery system. Interlibrary loan is available for access to thousands of resources across the state and country.
