Located on the fourth floor of the Center for Medical and Health Sciences, the new Medical Library is nearly complete. The 7,500 square-foot space offers educational support available only to LUCOM and School of Health Sciences students. The Medical Library contains 15 semi-private study rooms with walls coated in white board paint for creative studying, 46 individual study carrels, and comfortable seating areas for relaxation offering a beautiful view of the Liberty campus and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Extensive holdings are available electronically and in print, which includes multiple licenses for required and recommended journals that support the curriculum.
Located on main campus, the Jerry Falwell Library supplies interlibrary loans consisting of thousands of resources available across the state and country. The online catalog, LibraryThing, is also available where viewers can review and post comments about medical and academic resources.
For more information, please email the LUCOM Medical Library.
The library is always on badge access, unless prior approval is granted. The library is only available for COM student doctors and graduate students (who are currently enrolled) in the Masters of Public Health program.
