Located on the fourth floor of the Center for Medical and Health Sciences, the new Medical Library is nearly finished. This 7,500 square-foot space, available only to LUCOM and School of Health Sciences students, offers invaluable education support not just to the students, but for the faculty, as well. The Medical Library contains 15 semi-private study rooms with walls coated in white board paint for creative studying, 46 individual study carrels, and comfortable seating areas for relaxation offering a beautiful view of the Liberty campus and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This Medical Library has extensive holdings available electronically and in print, which includes multiple licenses for required and recommended journals that support the curriculum.
Additional resources are accessible for LUCOM and School of Health Sciences students at the Jerry Falwell Library on main campus with interlibrary loans consisting of thousands of resources available across the state and country.
The library is always on badge access, unless prior approval is granted. The library is only available for COM student doctors and graduate students (who are currently enrolled) in the Masters of Public Health program.
