Ever wonder why someone from a paradise country comes to United States to study? For some, it is the opportunity and the experience. For Shanika, it was all of the above, but mostly, it was the sacrifice and it is where the Lord wants her to be.
Shanika is a person who is passionate about human and organizational development, serving others and, last but not least, cooking; which the Lord used to open the door for her to come to the United States. As a result, she has pursued an Associate’s degrees in Culinary Arts and Baking Arts. Recently, she has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Human Resource Management from Liberty University.
In the past, Shanika worked in the hospitality industry as a Chef, providing excellent service to customers. After that, she moved on to further her studies at LU. While studying at the university, she worked as a student worker in the Dean of Students Office. Currently, Shanika is part of the administrative staff in the Dean of Students Office, working as the office receptionist.
