Congratulations on your acceptance! You may now enroll in your first classes. The Office of Military Affairs has designed 4 easy steps to help you successfully navigate through the admissions process and begin your classes with ease.
STEP 1: Admissions Acceptance
Please work with your admissions counselor to complete the steps necessary for full acceptance into Liberty University.
STEP 2: Secure Funding
Determine your aid eligibility and follow the necessary steps to secure your funding.
Federal Financial Aid
Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine what federal aid you are eligible to receive. Visit our Financial Aid webpage for a complete guide.
GI Bill Benefits
To utilize your GI Bill benefits, submit your Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) paperwork to the Military Affairs Office via email, email@example.com, or fax, (434) 455-1287. Visit the VA benefit guide for more information. It is recommended that you submit your GI Bill documentation before registering for courses to ensure timely certification of your benefits for the semester.
Military Tuition Assistance (TA)
To use your Military TA, please submit your TA authorization to Liberty University after you have registered for your courses. Your TA authorization must be accurate including the correct start and end dates. Please review the TA authorization process for each branch for more information.
Note: Army soldier-students using GoArmyEd must register for courses through Liberty University before requesting TA through the GoArmyEd portal.
STEP 3: Complete Financial Check-In
Access your ASIST account and complete Financial Check-In. ASIST can be utilized to update your student information, pay an account balance, and to select a payment plan option for the semester.
STEP 4: Attend Freshman Seminar
During Freshman Seminar you will be invited to a special briefing for service members, veterans, and military dependents to learn more about your military and vetaran benefits, special scholarships, and opportunities to connect within the Liberty University military community. Additional information will be sent to you via email during the summer with dates and locations for Freshman Seminar and the Military Affairs briefing.
