Why Student Activities? I saw the table at a Campus Rec job fair and remembered all the super cool coffee tables and events. I really wanted to be a part of that team!

Why Student Activities? The staff has always seemed to enjoy working and helping people, so when I saw that for the first time I knew that it was something I would like to be a part of.

Why Student Activities? I wanted to work for Student Activities because it looked like so much fun & such great experience for the career I am looking to pursue after college!

Why Student Activities? I joined SA so I could have a direct helping hand in creating community and unity in the student body and provide a great student experience.

One Thing: During my senior year of high school I was in a barbershop quartet.

Why Student Activities? SA does a great job making events comfortable and fun. The events aren’t corny or weird like other christian schools’. They're fun and interesting and people actually want to go to the events we put on. So my brain thought it’d be a mistake to NOT try to work in an atmosphere like that every single day.

Why Student Activities? I chose Student Activities because it is the best department on campus! The staff is great and the events are fun!

Why Student Activities? I absolutely love serving people, making them feel loved, and helping them feel like they belong. SA does an incredible job doing that and I wanted to be a part of something that does what I love!

Why Student Activities? Meeting new people and helping them have a good time are two of my favorite things in the world and SA is the perfect fun environment to do those in.

Why Student Activities? I was encouraged by some of the staff to join the team and I just saw how much fun the team was to be around. I am talking sick fellowship day in and day out.

As Director of Student Activities, I oversee the overall calendar and vision of our department from promotion to execution and analysis. I also lead the Student Activities staff, compromised of 20+ full time and student worker employees.

As Assistant Director for Student Activities I oversee the department’s branding and create marketing pieces for all events this includes all print and digital advertisements as well as promotional videos. I also manage the promotional calendar for Student Activities and Outdoor Recreation which includes leading the graphics and video interns.


Erin Diaz

As Assistant Director, I plan and oversee the execution of mid-scale events and concerts on our calendar. In addition to events, I am the direct report for the event supervisors and event staff. For marketing, all content being published/promoted goes through me, from social media to the SA blog. I also write for the blog weekly.

As Special Events Coordinator I am responsible for maintaining analytics for event surveys, social media and website. I deal with various event logistics for all events such as filing out work orders and securing event rentals. I also manage monthly budgets, event finances and receipts.
