Erin Diaz

Major: Strategic Communications

One Thing: I'm half Mexican so I prefer to be called Señorita Diaz.

Why Student Activities? When I went to Coffeehouse for the first time, I knew I wanted to be a part of Student Activities. Who wouldn't want to be a part of the most fun and creative department on campus?

Adie Hayes

Hometown: Virginia Beach, Virginia

Major: Fashion Merchandising

One Thing: I have backpacked across Europe.

Why Student Activities? I wanted to work at student activities because I love working with people who love to have fun and I also enjoy working events.

Drew Snavely

Hometown: Bath, New York

Major: Finance

One Thing: Anybody can find a place in my heart through soccer.

Why Student Activities? I saw this opportunity as a great way to get more involved at Liberty and a great way to meet more people.

As Director of Student Activities, I oversee the overall calendar and vision of our department from promotion to execution and analysis. I also lead the Student Activities staff, compromised of 20+ full time and student worker employees. 

Brian Shesko

Associate Director

As Associate Director, I am responsible for guiding and advising our departmental initiative toward more thoughtful and purposeful engagement of the various forms of entertainment we provide for the students of Liberty University. This includes leading workshops and other trainings for our student worker staff as well as written content such as previews and reviews of many of our events. I also help oversee event analytics that contribute to the University’s assessment for accreditation standards.

Robert Johns

Assistant Director

Degree: B.S. in Music, M.A. in Management and Leadership

Favorite Book: The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin

As Assistant Director of Student Activities, I oversee the digital marketing of the department - this includes our website, social media accounts, and blog. I also manage logistics for many of our events, especially concerts. The last major piece of my role is the recruitment and leading of our 100+ volunteer LU Serve staff.

Kari Moye

Marketing Coordinator

Hometown: Fairfax, VA

Education: B.S. in Communication Studies: Advertising and PR (Minor: Business); M.S. in Marketing - Digital Marketing and Advertising (2017)

Favorite Book: White Oleander

As Marketing Coordinator for Student Activities I oversee the department’s branding and create marketing pieces for all events this includes all print and digital advertisements as well as promotional videos. I also manage the promotional calendar for Student Activities and Outdoor Recreation which includes leading the graphics and video interns.
