Hitomi Makino is originally from Japan, but after receiving Christ as her personal Savior through American missionaries at age 20, she came to the United States.
In 2001, she obtained a M.Ed. in community counseling at the University of Mississippi and her Ph.D. in professional counseling at Liberty University in 2010. She served as an adjunct professor at LU and worked at the American Association of Christian Counselors prior to working at Liberty University as a Student Care Officer.
Being loved by God and being brought to His presence, Hitomi’s passion is to present students to God, becoming mature in their relationship with Christ (Colossians 1:28).
