Airing on the flagship station Journey FM (88.3 FM in Lynchburg), “Football Game Day” begins 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Co-hosted by Nick Pierce, Jamie Hall, and Matt Camire, the show provides in-depth pregame radio coverage of Liberty football.
Fans listen as coaches and players discuss the keys to a Flames’ victory and also hear exclusive pregame thoughts from Head Coach Turner Gill.
At kickoff, the “Voice of the Flames,” Alan York, and color analyst, Paul Rutigliano, team up to call the game, and Josh Valles keeps fans up-to-date on scores from around the country. After the game, LFSN takes fans inside the locker room with the postgame report for exclusive interviews with Liberty players and coaches as they break down the game.
“The Flames Sports Hotline” broadcasts live each Monday night from Doc’s Diner during the football season. This hour-long show is hosted by the “Voice of the Flames,” Alan York, and takes you inside Liberty athletics. Each week, York is joined by Head Football Coach Turner Gill and other guests including Liberty athletics administrators, student-athletes, and coaches. “The Flames Sports Hotline” is a must-listen for all serious Flames fans.
The show airs Monday nights from 7-8 p.m. on ESPNinVA, a network of stations that includes 93.3 FM (Lynchburg), 730 AM (Danville), 1240 AM (Roanoke), 1320 AM (Lynchburg), and 1350 AM (Bedford).
