School of Engineering Career Fair

The School of Engineering and the Career Center came together to put on the 1st School of Engineering Career Fair.

Date: September 13, 2012 (Completed)

Focus: The purpose of this event was to provide Liberty University School of Engineering students and alumni the opportunity to network, apply and interview with local and national companies.

Attendance: Open to all School of Engineering Juniors, Seniors, Graduate students and alumni – bring several copies of your resume to hand out to the employers.

Summary:  This event was a huge success!  Here is a comment from one of the employers who attended...

"I would like to mention how impressed my team was with the LU students, specifically regarding the professional conduct, humility and appreciation they expressed. One of my colleagues was simply 'amazed' at the number of students who personally thanked us for coming! She said, 'The professionalism, manners and gratitude shown by these students is unlike anything I have ever seen!'  My response was simply, '… that’s because LU is probably unlike most Universities you’ve seen! God is welcome here and is part of the culture here. The hospitality and gratitude you observed is a reflection of Him!'”
