The School of Religion and the Career Center teamed up to bring the first ever School of Religion Career Fair at Liberty University.

Date: November 8, 2012

Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Place: Williams Football Stadium Tower (Third Level)

Focus: The purpose of this event was to provide Liberty University School of Religion students and alumni the opportunity to network, apply and interview with local and national church ministries.

Attendance: This event was open to all School of Religion Juniors, Seniors, Graduate students and alumni who brought several copies of their resumes to hand out to the employers.

Dress and Appearance: Business Casual Attire

Women
• Khaki, corduroy, twill or cotton pants or skirts, designer jeans (no rips or holes) neatly pressed
• Sweaters, twinsets, cardigans, polo/knit shirts
• Solid colors work better than bright patterns
• Neck lines up, hem lines down, and loosen up (not too tight) on the clothing
• Personal hygiene and appearance (do not “roll out of bed” and come to the event)
Men
• Khaki, corduroy, twill or cotton pants, or designer jeans (no rips or holes) neatly pressed
• Cotton long-sleeved button-down shirts, pressed, polo shirts or knit shirts with a collar
• Sweaters
• Leather shoes and belt
• Tie optional
• Personal hygiene (shave and neatly groomed) and appearance (do not “roll out of bed” and come to the event)
What Not to Wear
Regardless of gender, when the dress code is business casual it's not appropriate to wear your favorite old t-shirt, ripped jeans and antique sneakers. Keep in mind the "business" part of business casual, and leave your old comfortable clothes at home.
