Message from the Director

Richard Glass - Director

Hello Liberty University Community!

On behalf of the Liberty University Career Center, I am pleased that you are looking to further your professional development by viewing our resources.  While at Liberty, we hope you not only enjoy your classes, friendships, and spiritual growth, but that you are also prepared to leave Liberty having a full time job, whether that be in the public sector, private sector, mission field, or you start your own business.  Dr. Jerry Falwell’s vision to “Train Champions for Christ” can only be completed if his champions are working in positions throughout the world where they can be influential in changing lives for Christ.

The Career Center offers career counseling, resume and cover letter assistance, and mock interviews to every individual associated with Liberty University.  We also handle networking opportunities with employers from around the world, which lead to internships and job opportunities.  One such internship is the Washington Fellowship, the program that allows Liberty students of any major to spend a semester in Washington D.C., working in some of the most influential organizations and companies in the country.

I hope these resources are helpful to you as you begin the process of your professional development.  If you have any questions on how best to approach the job market, feel free to make an appointment with one of our professional career counselors.

May God bless you in your career endeavors.
