Hello Liberty University Community!
On behalf of the Liberty University Career Center, I am pleased that you are looking to further your professional development by viewing our resources. While at Liberty, we hope you not only enjoy your classes, friendships, and spiritual growth, but that you are also prepared to leave Liberty having a full time job, whether that be in the public sector, private sector, mission field, or you start your own business. Dr. Jerry Falwell’s vision to “Train Champions for Christ” can only be completed if his champions are working in positions throughout the world where they can be influential in changing lives for Christ.
The Career Center offers career counseling, resume and cover letter assistance, and mock interviews to every individual associated with Liberty University. We also handle networking opportunities with employers from around the world, which lead to internships and job opportunities. One such internship is the Washington Fellowship, the program that allows Liberty students of any major to spend a semester in Washington D.C., working in some of the most influential organizations and companies in the country.

Mission Statement
The Career Center provides professional resources in career planning and employment services to Liberty University men and women, equipping them with the ability to obtain a position that will utilize their God-given talents to impact the world for Christ.
Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to facilitate Christ-centered, positive partnerships and engagement opportunities among students, alumni, faculty, staff and employers locally, nationally and worldwide.
We assist all students, and alumni with:
- Planning and implementing career objectives focusing on their development and identity formation through assessments, cover letter and resume review, and interview critiques
- Identifying internship and post-graduate employment opportunities meeting their post graduate career goals
We assist employers in
- Establishing and maintaining a relationship with Liberty University and its various departments, students and Alumni
- Meeting their staffing needs for internships and employment (both entry level and seasoned professionals) locally, nationally and worldwide
- Organizing on-site, off-site and on-line introductions and informational sessions with the Liberty community
