Honor the Past. Embrace the Future.
Building our future on the firm foundation of our past, the new Jerry Falwell Library will honor our founder, Dr. Jerry Falwell, Sr., and will empower Champions for Christ for decades to come. With the new library, Liberty University continues to bring life to the legacy of Dr. Falwell while forging an even stronger era of academic excellence and spiritual strength. The Jerry Falwell Library will truly Honor the Past and Embrace the Future.
The campus of Liberty University features 166 buildings, none of them bearing the name of the school’s beloved founder. That will soon change. In October 2011, Liberty University’s Board of Trustees voted to name the future “heart of the university” in honor of Dr. Jerry Falwell, Sr.
The library, which will sit behind the Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center, will represent the largest investment by Liberty in any structure on campus and will likely retain that distinction for decades to come.
