The Perfect Building to Bear His Name
In 1971, Dr. Jerry Falwell envisioned a Christian university where students would diligently pursue knowledge in every academic discipline and use their education to stand as Champions for Christ in their communities and respective fields.
The Jerry Falwell Library not only bears our founder’s name but also embodies his vision. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this 4-story, 170,000-square-foot library represents the university’s largest investment in any structure on campus and is likely to retain that distinction for decades to come. Centrally located, the library serves as the heart of campus activity and assists students in their academic pursuits by providing quality learning resources.
