This one-day course is a great way for you to test the waters and see if pursuing certification in SCUBA diving is something you want. If you do, Liberty offers a one credit KINE 232 Open Water SCUBA certification class which can lead all the way to Dive Master.

Open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Equipment provided.

Participants will meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Green Hall, Room 1851 for orientation, then migrate to the LaHaye pool. All participants MUST attend the orientation.

This course is a comprehensive, 14 CFR Part 61 training program consisting of highly structured ground and flight training lessons designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully complete the Initial CFI FAA Practical Test in a Multi-Engine Aircraft and to serve as competent flight instructors.

Each candidate must hold a Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate.  At least 7 hours of multi-engine PIC time is required.
