Bio: Served 30 years in the private sector business world and the last 15 years in the information technology industry as an executive responsible for providing multi-million dollar solutions and professional staffing services to private and public sector operations throughout the United States.  He is the registered director on the board of a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation; business owner, former Private School Board of Directors member, a deacon and an adult couples Sunday School teacher.

Bio: Before coming to Liberty University, I served twelve years in the Air Force. On Gods call, I left my military career behind to pursue His calling in my life. I have a strong desire to use the skills He has blessed me with, which has led me to working for the Career Center. I have a passion for helping people and the Career Center allows me the opportunity to mentor, coach, and lead which are my strengths. I enjoy equipping students and our alum with tools to assist them in successfully employing themselves in the workforce. Employer Relations also allows me the chance to make a difference and get involved in the community by networking and developing relationships. These relationships assist me in bridging the gap between the employer and our students. God has blessed the Career Center with the resources and the people to assist in plugging young Christian men and women into a workforce that is starving for His influence. I am excited to be a part of a Career Center that is shaping and impacting so many lives and our community.

Bio: Matt is originally from southern Utah until he came to Liberty in 2007. At Liberty, he met his wife Jo.  Currently, Matt is working towards a Masters degree in Human Services.

Bio: Having served in a number of offices at Liberty over the past four years, I’ve grown to love helping students navigate academics and life.  I’m passionate about ideas, how they shape us, and communicating them through counseling and the arts.  With my free time I enjoy doing freelance and volunteer graphic design work for various Christian organizations and events.

Bio: With a previous focus on teaching and volunteer leadership, Tracey had the opportunity to begin as the Career Center’s Office Manager in 2008 and then as a Career Counselor the following year.  She is able to use her counseling education and teaching experience to meet with students individually as well as present to residential classes on professional development skills and tailor resume workshops to service graduate students.

Bio: Tyler has been involved with college students in the Lynchburg area since 2010 when he served on staff at a local church as an Associate Pastor. Since then he has transitioned to the Career Counseling team where he continues to use his passion for helping college students determine their full potential in the Lord and helping them to think past graduation. Tyler and his wife have a son and enjoy spending their free time hiking, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and spending time with family.

Bio: Dina has worked in Development and Academic Advising before coming to the Career Center and loves working with Liberty students, alumni, and parents. She takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to Career Counseling. Dina is happily married and is a mother of two daughters.

Bio: It has been said of millenials that they are lazy, entitled, and unfocused. Though he has seen many instances where these things are true, Reggie refuses to let that be the legacy of his generation.  Whether it’s in his role as a Career Counselor helping students (traditional and non) navigate through career and educational choices, his role as an Adjunct instructor (online and residentially) patiently training students in new content areas, or in his role as the co-founder of a brand that highlights local culture in an effort to inspire millenials to engage in their community, Reggie constantly finds himself on the frontlines of shaping his generation. Reggie’s training and experience, along with his diverse interests and pursuits allow him to relate to a variety of students, ensuring an effective and lasting helping relationship.

His latest project involves doing some independent marketing consulting for an El Salvador based non-profit organization, helping develop a strategy centered around their core values.

Bio: Christian Education has been Michele's profession for over 8 years and she has been active in Christian schools for over 15 years. Michele has been a high school English teacher, a speech teacher and music/drama teacher. One of her passions in life is encouraging students in the gifts and callings that God has entrusted to them as they step out into the marketplace professionally.

Bio: The High Point, North Carolina native is a 2010 alumnus of Winston-Salem State University.  Corderius transitioned to Liberty University in 2011.  During his tenure as a Graduate Student Assistant for the Department of Psychology, Corderius acknowledged a proclivity for serving as an advocate for those who are in professional transition. The Career Counselor role provides an unparalleled opportunity for Corderius to serve Liberty University students and alumni.

Bio: Clayton served our country for 7 years as a B-52 Crew Chief in the United States Air Force.  After much prayer he finished his enlistment and moved back to his hometown (Lynchburg, VA) to complete my education at Liberty University.  After graduating from Liberty Clayton was hired as the recruiter for LU Online (formerly the External Degree Program) and then promoted to Director of Military Affairs and Recruitment.  After three years at Liberty he accepted a position to work at my local church and then went on to work in the corporate world for many years.  Clayton is thrilled to return to Liberty and has a passion to help students achieve their career goals.  Clayton is married to his beautiful wife Robyn and has two energetic & amazing boys.  He loves all of the family time he can get as well as enjoying golfing and fishing.

Bio: Heather moved to Lynchburg, VA in January 2012. June of 2013, God graciously opened up an opportunity for her at Liberty University as the Office Administrator in the Career Center. Within 2 months, she transitioned into her current role as the Events and Recruitment Coordinator. Heather is a planner and coordinator at heart, so this is something that she truly finds joy in, and is so grateful for the opportunity. Heather married her best friend in 2008 and has three beautiful children. She is truly blessed to be in such a breathtaking city and is excited to see what the Lord has planned for her and her family!

Bio: My name is Courtney Tate.  I have worked for Liberty University for 3 years.  Seven of those months, I have been employed by the Career Center.  I have enjoyed forming relationships with many Health Professions employers and building that connection for the students.  I assist companies in recruiting and filling job/internship positions with talented Liberty students.  I look forward to continuing the process of growth and development for the Health Professions Career Events in order to provide more opportunities for employers and Liberty students.

Bio: Michael was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. He first came to Liberty University in the Fall of 2009 as a student where he served in many leadership roles in various non-profit organizations. Among them, he was the President of Liberty University’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student club as well as the Director of Professional Development for the School of Business Ambassador Program. Here, he established a passion for helping students grow themselves professionally. Since then he has transitioned to Employer Relations Coordinator where he continues his passion for helping college students. He looks forward to continuing to develop himself professionally while helping others and seeing where the future takes him.
