Prospective Students

Experience a combination of daily active duty along with a Christ-centered college education with ROTC at Liberty University. Participate with no military obligation.

Cadet Command requires interested students to be willing to commit to the program for four years before entering.

To be eligible to become an Army officer you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have good moral character
  • Be 18-30 years old by appointment date (non-scholarship)
  • Be under 31 on Dec. 31 of the calendar year of your appointment date (scholarship)
  • Achieve 90 on ECLT and DLI ratings 2+ comprehensive and 2 speaking (if English is not your primary language)
  • Be medically fit at time of contracting

If you have at least two or more years remaining toward your undergraduate degree but not enough time to complete MISC 100-200 courses, you can continue taking MISC courses and pursuing your commission by completing Basic Camp (CIET) or by joining the Simultaneous Membership Program.
