Military Students

Liberty University is proud of the courageous men and women who serve our country. We strive to give our military students and their families the very best experience possible in transitioning from military service to college life.  Liberty provides many opportunities for you to pursue a degree that complements your military experience, as well as offering opportunities within our ROTC programs. We are committed to helping you reach your academic and career goals.

Admissions

Military students may follow our standard application process by applying for admission and sending academic information. In order to ensure that you are included on important updates with the student veteran community, we encourage you to send a form of military service documentation when you first apply so that your student file may be updated. This will also help us assist in coordinating your benefits at Liberty in the initial stages of your enrollment. Documents including a copy of a DD-214, Leave and Earnings Statement, military orders, etc. are acceptable. Please do not send photocopies of a military ID card. All documents may be sent to the Admissions Office.

USING YOUR Military BENEFITS AT LIBERTY

Liberty University’s Office of Military Affairs is committed to assisting all student veterans as they pursue their educational goals. A team of military education specialists are available to assist you with your military and veteran benefits, to address your questions and act as liaison with your military education office and the Department of Veterans Affairs to utilize the funding for your education.
