Educational Experience

Mr. Amos attended Liberty University where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Coaching, graduating Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society; and, Master’s degree in Sport Management, graduating Summa cum Laude with Distinction. As a student at Liberty University, Mr. Amos worked for the Department of Sport Management as a GSA/TA from 2009 until 2011 upon completion of his master’s degree. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Sport Management through the United States Sports Academy in Daphene, Alabama. Mr. Amos’s areas of specialization include Sport Marketing, Event Management, Equipment, Coaching, and Communication in Sport. He holds seven certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Institute (FEMA) and has been published in the Encyclopedia of Sport Management.


Sport Industry Experience

Mr. Amos is entering into his eleventh season working for the Washington Redskins as an Equipment and Staff Assistant. Prior to his employment with Liberty University, Mr. Amos worked as the Athletic Director for Campbell County, Virginia, was on staff with the Washington Nationals as a Clubhouse Attendant, and Coached High School Football.


Personal

Mr. Amos is from the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. area. He continues working with the Redskins and travels between Washington, D.C. and Lynchburg on his weekends. He enjoys participating in or watching athletic activities, golfing, skiing, hiking, grilling out, traveling, exercising, spending time at the lake and beach, and watching movies and documentaries.
