Bus Routes
Route 71 - Liberty CampusThis is the primary interior campus route providing service between the Green Hall Transfer Center and South Campus including the Keyhole, DeMoss Hall, Liberty Bell, and the Liberty University Bookstore. Route 71 operates weekdays from 5:20 AM - 1:20 AM and weekends from 9 AM - 1:20 AM. During the construction of the Residence Hall Towers service will be extended to several stops along South Campus Dr. A bus stop will also be added near Dunkin Donuts.
Route 72 - East CampusThis route provides service between the Green Hall Transfer Center and the East Campus Satellite Lot and includes stops at the East Athletic Complex, East Campus Pedestrian Tunnel, and the East Campus Residence Halls. Route 72 operates weekdays from 5:20 AM - 1:20 AM and weekends from 9 AM - 1:20 AM.
Route 73 - Liberty Residential AnnexThis campus connector route provides service from the Green Hall Transfer Center and DeMoss Hall to and from LU Residential Annex and Annex II located on Odd Fellows Rd. Additional stops include Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Liberty University Bookstore. Route 73 operates weekdays from 5:30 AM - 1:30 AM and weekends from 9 AM - 1:30 AM.
Residential Annex Circulator - Provides service between LU Residential Annex I and II during Tuesday and Thursday lunch and Monday - Friday dinner hours. The shuttle will operate every few minutes.
Route 74 - Liberty Mountain This route will originate at Green Hall and include the East Campus Drive, Wingate by Wyndham Hotel, Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, Liberty Mountain Intramural Fields, Movies 10, Liberty Mountain Skate Park (Drowsy Poet), Liberty Mountain Conference Center, Liberty Christian Academy, and LaHaye Ice Center stops. The route begins at 7:00 AM Green Hall and its last drop off at Green Hall 12:00 AM Monday thru Friday. On Saturday and Sundays the route starts at 12 PM at Green Hall and its last drop off at Green Hall will be 12:00 AM
Route 75 - Camp Hydaway This route will connect our new recreation facility at Camp Hydaway with Green Hall every 30 minutes. Pickups at Green Hall :10 and :40 with connection to routes 71,72,73, and 74 at :40. This route is seasonal so make sure to check any splash page announcements to any changes. Monday thru Friday from 4:10 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday/Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Route 76 - Liberty Aviation Academic Center This route connects DeMoss Hall with the Aviation Academic Center and Freedom Aviation Hangar at the Lynchburg Airport. This route runs weekdays only and is designed to allow students traveling to and from both buildings within the class transition time.
Route 85 - CornerstoneService is provided from the Green Hall Transfer Center and DeMoss Hall to the Cornerstone properties on Greenview Dr. Service frequency will be every 45 minutes in the early morning and after 1:00 p.m. Between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. frequency will be every 15 minutes. Route 85 operates weekdays from 6:45 AM - 8:10 PM.
Route 86 - Apartment RouteThis route provides service to the Green Hall Transfer Center and DeMoss Hall every 70 minutes from the Old Mill Townhomes, Forest Brook, Walden Pond, and Park Place apartments. Employees and students may use this route without obtaining a GLTC bus pass. Route 86 operates weekdays from 6:48 AM - 8:30 PM.
GLTC Route 4F - Plaza to Liberty University via River Ridge MallThis GLTC route provides service every half hour from the Plaza to the Green Hall Transfer Center and supports the park & ride facilities at the River Ridge Mall near Macy's, the K-Mart on Wards Rd, and Pittman Plaza near the bus transfer center. Students and employees must obtain a GLTC bus pass. Bus passes are available to students free of charge. Employees must purchase the bus pass directly from GLTC. Employees and students who have a vehicle that will be operated on campus should complete a free registration of that vehicle to this park & ride route so the vehicle can be permitted to be on campus during the evenings and weekends. Route 4F operates weekdays from 6:08 AM - 8:08 PM and Saturdays from 7:08 AM - 8:08 PM.
