You can never start too early lining up an internship. In fact the best way to go through the application process is to find the internship first.
The internship team or the Career Center does not place interns. It is the sole responsibility of the student to find and secure an internship. The rest of this page is here as a beginning point to help students with this process.
Networking
1. Communicate with family and friends. Ask if they know someone in your field.
2. Contact professors or industry professionals. This would include the Career Center. Request an appointment now!
3. Ask peers about opportunities or where they found their internship.
4. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites.
