Internship Search Resources

Finding an internship first is the best way to go through the application process. Searching and lining up an internship can never be started too early. The internship team at the Career Center assists students in the process of finding and securing an internship. Our first step of assistance, is to provide resources that will facilitate your internship search efforts.

Networking

  • Communicate with family and friends to find out if know someone in your field.
  • Speak with professors or industry professionals about information relevant to the field you are interested in entering. Also, request an appointment with the Career Center.
  • Converse with your peers about your internship opportunities, as well as their internship experience.
  • Connect with employers, industry professionals and peers on social media websites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other social media websites.

  • Utilize the LU Network to search internships, and access professional development and full-time positions. Employers on LU Network are looking specifically for Liberty University students and alumni.
  • Attend Liberty University school department Career Fairshosted here on campus.
  • Attend regional job fairs: Challenge Job Fair or Career Premiere.
