Contest rules and details

The $5,000, $10,000, and one-year full tuition scholarship will cover tuition only, but not such fees as technology, transportation, vehicle, class, or room and board costs. The one-year full tuition plus fees scholarship will cover tuition, the activity/student center fee, and the student health fee. The scholarships will not cover books, supplies or other fees. All winners must enroll for the Fall 2016 academic year and apply all dollars from the contest to the Fall 2016 semester and Spring 2017 semester. Beginning Sept. 1 and each subsequent month, you will be added as an eligible entrant for the scholarship drawing if you meet the criteria of that drawing.

There are no maximum number of entries for each drawing. Prizes have NO cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash. If there are, for whatever reason, tax consequences for winning any of the prizes, the winner is responsible to pay all taxes. The winner will be required to agree to the Liberty University Honor Code, Liberty Way, and Liberty Living Guide, and sign a release for their photo and quotes to be used in Liberty University promotional content. If any eligible entrant is a minor under the legal age of majority in the state of his or her legal residence, one of the entrant’s parents or legal guardians also must sign the agreement, acknowledging that they have read and understand the terms. The contestant deemed to be a winner but unwilling to sign an enforceable and valid Liberty University agreement and release will be considered disqualified.

Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges of any prizes will be permitted. Winners will be notified by phone by representatives of Liberty University Resident Enrollment. All prizes are awarded ‘AS IS’ and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). This contest can be altered or revoked at the discretion of the sponsor. Winners must be accepted and notify Liberty University Admissions office 60 days prior to enrolling at Liberty University.
