Junior field experience provides students with the opportunity to perform in the role of a social work practitioner under the supervision of an experienced social worker. In one semester, students will have experienced a minimum of 100 field hours in a setting, which employs social workers. Students will meet for one hour weekly to discuss the theoretical and conceptual concepts learned in the classroom with the practical experiences in field placement.
