The legal environment of filmmaking can often be difficult to navigate. This course aims to present general principles within the cinematic arts legal environment that are fundamental to a carrer in the filmmaking industry. Students will investigate cases and research topics related intellectual propery, copyrights, product placement, script options, and cinematic arts business ethics.

Sophomore standing
