Liberty University Equestrian Team

The Liberty University Equestrian Team is located just fifteen minutes from Liberty in scenic Forest, VA, at Serene Creek Run Riding Center. The team members enjoy full use of the facility seven days a week. Students ride and compete in hunt seat against the top ranked schools in their region. Tryouts are held through out the year.

The team is looking for riders, both advanced and beginners, who are dedicated to riding and practicing several times a week. Team members take lessons and practice in indoor and outdoor arenas as well as through out the hunt fields and endurance trails offered at the facility. Family are welcome to come and observe. Fees include lessons, tack, boarding, leasing, practices and team jackets.

The team competes with the IHSA for prizes and scholarships. Riders can also show outside the collegiate circuit in horse shows for SWVHJA, AQHA, APHA, NBHA, IBRA, ApHA, and foxhunt with the Bedford Hunt Club. Field trips are enjoyed throughout the season!
