My Career Advancement (My CAA) for Military Spouses
Residential Program
The My CAA program is for Military spouses married to an Active Duty or activated National Guard or Reserve service member. To determine your eligibility for this program, and to register, please go to the My CAA website.
If you are eligible for the My CAA program please follow the steps below.
- Apply for the My CAA program on the My CAA website
- Upload courses
- Once your account is active on the My CAA website you will need to upload all of the courses you plan to take at Liberty University
- Register for courses
- You can register online through the ASIST portal or by contacting your Academic Advisor located in CASAS
- Request Tuition Assistance (TA) for your courses
- Before the start date of each course you will need to go onto My CAA to request the TA for the course(s) you plan to tke. If you have questions please contact your My CAA Education Counselor.

- Contact the Military Affairs office
- Liberty will post the TA to your student account
- Once we retrieve your approved TA from the My CAA portal, we will post the authorized amount of aid to your student account.
- You will receive an email
- Once your TA is posted, you will receive an email confirmation stating that you are ready to complete Financial Check-in
Things to remember when applying for TA:
- When you request TA you will need to know the start/end dates of the term(s) you are applying for.
- If you are taking an intensive you will need to put the start/end dates for the entire semester. (Example: You are taking a Summer 2009 intensive. You will need to put 5/11/2009 – 8/14/2009)

Please send us a copy of
your DD-214 or your
spouse’s DD-214 with a copy of your
marriage certificate. These documents are used to verify your status as a military spouse. You may Fax (434-455-1287) or Email (
