Online undergraduate students should contact the Online Writing Center. |
The Undergraduate Writing Center aims to develop undergraduate writing proficiency through one-on-one tutoring sessions. Tutors work with students in 30-minute sessions in order to teach writing skills instead of simply editing the text. Tutors help students:
- Polish/learn the technical aspects of writing (grammar, punctuation, etc.)
- Organize and present good research
- Refine academic writing and thought
Please note that the Undergraduate Writing Center is not a proofreading or drop-off service. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you want to be sure that someone will be available for a tutoring session, please call or email to make an appointment at least two days in advance.
