School of Engineering and Computational Sciences - Industrial Engineering

Industrial Engineering encompasses production design, plant layout, routing, and production mix. At Liberty, we also include course work in more of the recently developed areas of IE enterprise: operations research, human factors, production systems and engineering management, business analytics, and business intelligence. These data analysis courses are focused on helping management connect the “critical” results of enterprise (namely revenue, low cost, and resource efficiency) to the "controllable" drivers of enterprise results.
