Prerequisites: 18-30 UG credit hours in history (lower or upper-level hours); it is preferred that the student has 30 prerequisite credit hours
Regionally or nationally accredited bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA for admission in good standing. (Probation on a case-by-case basis)
300-500 word Statement of Purpose - The Statement of Purpose should include your goals for your intended academic program, as well as, an explanation of what you hope to gain from and contribute to the program.
Two Faculty Letters of Recommendation are required (must be on University or Company letterhead with a signature)
10-12 page research paper in the Turabian (Chicago Manual) format
GRE: The applicant must have a minimum score of 155 in the verbal and quantitative sections and 3.5 in the analytical writing section of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
