Liberty OneCard

All Liberty University students are issued a Liberty OneCard. There is no need to send your photo.  Liberty University Online students receive their Liberty OneCard with the "LU" logo in place of the photo. The Liberty OneCard is used to disburse financial refunds released by the University.

ACTIVATE your Liberty OneCard when you receive it in the mail. During this process you will be asked to specify a username, password and possibly a pin number. The Liberty OneCard is directly linked to financial refunds. You cannot receive your refunds until you activate your Liberty OneCard and choose a refund preference. Higher One is the company that administers the banking features of the Liberty OneCard and disburses all refunds released by the University. You have two options to choose from to gain access to your funds.

1. EASY REFUND-OPEN THE ONEACCOUNT: The OneAccount is an FDIC insured checking account with no minimum balance and no monthly fees. The Liberty OneCard serves as your bank (DEBIT) card for the OneAccount and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Your funds will be available to you within one business day after being released by the University.

2. ACH TRANSFER (To other bank): Your funds will be electronically deposited into your existing bank account. When activating your Liberty OneCard you will be prompted to complete a form to provide Higher One the account and routing number to complete the transaction. The form can be sent via US mail or fax. Your funds will be available in three to five business days after being released by the University.

Your Liberty OneCard enables you to have access to your financial refunds. A Liberty OneCard will be issued with an "LU" Logo and will be automatically ordered after you have completed financial check-in and registered for classes. Once your card is ordered it will arrive in 5-7 business days to the legal home permanent address listed in your ASIST account. The card will arrive in an envelope from New Haven, Connecticut and is marked "Important Information from Liberty University." Included will be instructions explaining how to activate your card.
