Dr. Todd Campo
Vice President of Student Leadership

Dr. Todd Campo began his career with Liberty University in September 2004 as Associate Dean of Student Affairs. In May 2005, he accepted a position as Assistant to the Executive Vice President, and in September 2005, was promoted to Head Dean of Men. In May of 2007, Dr. Campo was appointed by the late Dr. Jerry Falwell, Sr., to serve as Superintendant at Liberty Christian Academy.  He began that role in June. In July 2010, he made the transition back to Liberty University to serve the student body as Vice President for Student Leadership.

Dr. Campo received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY Oswego) in 1972. While enrolled at SUNY Oswego, he attended the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School.

Upon graduating with his bachelor’s degree, he went on to serve as second lieutenant in the Marine Corps and later was promoted to captain. He earned his wings through the Naval Air Training Command, which allowed him to fly A4 Skyhawks. After actively serving his country for eight years, he went on to pursue business opportunities and graduate school.

Dr. Campo received a Master of Arts in Apologetics from Trinity International University in Anaheim, CA in 1992.  He continued his education in 1997 and received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology at Trinity Theological Seminary. He also earned a Master of Arts in Religion through the Liberty University Online Program.

Even after completing his military career, Dr. Campo held many positions in public service. While he was principal of Hawthorn Christian School in California, the school’s student body achieved one of the highest scholastic scores in the state. In 1997, Dr. Campo took a position with the Los Angeles Police Department, where he earned the rank of Detective. He served there for seven years, investigating major assault crimes in South Central Los Angeles.

In 2004, Dr. Campo and his family felt led by God to cross the country from California to Lynchburg where they currently serve at Liberty University. He and his wife, JoAnn, live with their two children, Joshua and Matthew, in Forest, VA.

Randy Willis

Senior Associate Director

Randy Willis was born in Hope, Arkansas, into a United States Air Force military family and grew up living on or around various Air Force bases in Florida, Arkansas, Indiana, Texas and New York.  He was raised in a strong Christian home where his parents served as mission leaders in the various churches and continue to be involved in missions to this day.  Randy’s life verse is 1 Corinthians 2:9-11, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.  For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?  Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.”

Randy has served churches in different capacities as a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Interim Pastor and has spoken at revivals, seminars, and training sessions.  Randy has also served in management and leadership positions for various companies in a variety of industries that include food service, natural resources, banking, technology, education, construction, and manufacturing.

Educationally, Randy holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in business from Winthrop University (‘87), a M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (91’), and a MBA from Liberty University (07’). He was licensed into ministry in June 1986 by the First Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC and was ordained into ministry in May 1991 by Bethesda Baptist Church of Durham, NC.

On August 29, 1987 Randy and his wife Lynne were married after a thirteen month best friend, dating, courtship and engagement period. In March 1992 their oldest son Daniel was born and in November 1995 their youngest son Micah was born.  They reside in Forest, VA.

Dustin DuBose
Associate Director

I came to Liberty as a transfer student in 2005, having grown up in the great state of Georgia. In 2008 I graduated from Liberty with a bachelor’s degree in religion, concentrating in Youth Ministries. In the Fall of 2012 I received a Masters of Divinity concentrating in Biblical Studies. When I arrived on campus, I was not initially interested in student leadership, telling God that if he wanted me to serve, he would have to have someone approach me. Sure enough, the next day my RA at the time asked me to be a Prayer Leader on our hall. I accepted the position and moved up to serve as a Resident Assistant for the next two years. After that, I was privileged to be able to serve as a Resident Director for four years before being asked to serve as an Associate Director.

I met my wife, Jen, here at Liberty while serving as an RA (she was the Office Manager for OSL at the time). After dating for a year and half we were married in July of 2009. We now have a beautiful baby girl who has brought a ton of joy to our lives. I love to read and watch movies and generally spend my downtime with my family. I firmly believe that God has a purpose for each student here at Liberty. I count it a privilege to work with the students here, doing what I can to ensure that they move toward maturity in Christ.

Cimber Cummings
Associate Director

“When the Lord brought me to Liberty in 2006, little did I know I would be in Lynchburg ever since! Growing up as a Georgia girl, I was a little hesitant to make the long hike to Virginia, but now I know that coming to Liberty was the best decision I could have made. After serving in student leadership as a prayer leader, Resident Assistant, and Resident Director, and now Associate Director, I am so grateful to continue my service working with the incredible female leadership of LU. With the completion of my undergraduate degree in 2010, I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in School Counseling.

Like any good Georgia girl, I love UGA football, good Southern cooking, being outside and staying active, and of course a little retail therapy. Although it has been stretching at times being so far away from my family, the Lord could not have blessed me with a more amazing community, not only from LU, but also through my local church. I am very excited to continue to serve the Lord through the avenue of the Office of Student Leadership and Liberty University. Being involved with these two organizations has impacted my personal growth in an incredible way, and I look forward for what is to come.”

Kelsey Baker

Associate Director

Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” This verse is the echo of my life! I came to Liberty in the fall of 2005 wide eyed and ready to become a champion for Christ. In undergrad I had the privilege of getting to serve in various roles on campus from being a site leader for campus serve and singing on a ministry team to being a part of OSL by serving as a prayer leader, spiritual life director, and resident assistant. After graduating in 2009 with a degree in education, I went on to teach 4th and 5th grade reading and math at a local elementary school. While doing that, I was on staff at a church plant in Charlottesville. During that time, the Lord began to place the RD ministry on my heart. After serving as a RD, I never would have guessed that years later I would have the opportunity to serve alongside and minister with the SLDs on this campus. I am beyond blessed and humbled to continue to produce champions for Christ on this campus!

Stephen Myers
Associate Director

I grew up in the small city of Abilene, Texas and was blessed to be part of a church which focused on Missions and Evangelism. Through some trying experiences and tough family times, I developed a close relationship with a Youth Pastor at my church who discipled me, both personally and spiritually. His example as a man of God in every aspect of his life set a desire in my heart to pursue a life in the ministry; this is what brought me to Liberty University. In the Fall of 2005 I arrived at Liberty as a freshman. I quickly became involved in Student leadership serving as both a Prayer Leader, and as a Resident Assistant.  Serving in these different leadership roles allowed me to both disciple students on my hall, and to be discipled by other student leaders, and staff members.

In the summer of 2008 I was introduced to a beautiful woman, Leslie, who would become my wife in the fall of 2009. A little over a year after we were married, God blessed us again with a handsome little boy, Conner Jay. I am grateful for both my wife and son as God continues to show me his love, through my relationship with them. I worked for Liberty University Online for 2 years, while Leslie has had the opportunity to serve as a Resident Director. This has allowed both of us to build close relationships with students and be involved in several different aspects of ministry here at Liberty. I am grateful for the opportunity that God has provided in bringing me to the Office of Student Leadership to work with Prayer Leaders in discipling others for Christ and working to fulfill the great commission.

Elisha Dudley
Special Projects Coordinator

I am originally from the great, Midwest state of Arkansas but came to LU in 2004 as a transfer student to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. I was immediately drawn to leadership and started serving as a Spiritual Life Director and then Resident Assistant. After my time in undergrad, the Lord blessed me with the opportunity to serve as a Resident Director and receive my Master’s degree in Business Management. Now I serve as the Associate Director of Female Resident Directors.

While attending Liberty, I met my best friend, Jeremy, who became my husband in 2008. I also own Petal Flower Company, a wedding flower business that serves central Virginia. I enjoy playing with my dog, Webster, watching sports with my husband, cooking, and like every woman, talking. I never thought I would still be at Liberty but the Lord has abundantly blessed my time here with growth in the knowledge of Christ, a husband who I love dearly, priceless friendships, and a fulfilling job that is centered on elevating Christ. I am honored to work with 14 amazing women of God and to support them in their role as Resident Director’s.

Bethany Pearson

I came to Liberty in 2007 with no idea of all God would bring me through or the ways in which He would bless me! During my time in undergrad he truly shaped my life and my desires into those of ministry. I quickly got involved in Student Leadership and found my major in Women’s Ministry! I also met my wonderful husband, Matt, while in undergrad! He was my brother dorm RA! (Yes, I’ve truly embraced the cheesy Liberty romance story in my life!)

Matt and I were married February 26th, 2011 and we’ve been enjoying our time here in Lynchburg getting involved in community! Before I was brought back under the wing of Student Leadership I found myself working in Coffee Shops. I have a place in my heart for coffee – it’s another true passion of mine! It’s a true delight to be working in OSL though! I love being a part of this team and seeing the students of Liberty being challenged and grown!

In 2006 I made my first of many seven hour journeys from Youngstown, Ohio to the Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia. Those trips convinced me that this mountain would be my home for the next four years. Now, four years has turned into six as I’ve completed my Bachelors in Psychology and have begun my pursuit of a Masters in Counseling. Through my undergraduate career here, I had the opportunity to experience every leadership position from Prayer Warrior to Resident Assistant, and now find great pleasure in coming alongside the student leaders as an Administrative Assistant. I have a heart for the ministry that happens on each and every hall on campus and I am greatly encouraged to see the mission of OSL and the university carried out by our student body. I have seen the university change almost entirely over the last six years, and I am excited to see God’s plan for this campus unfold in the years to come.

Lindsey Smith
Administrative Assistant


Originally from the small town of Reidsville, North Carolina, I was an avid visitor of Liberty University for many years before eventually enrolling as a student! My youth group in high school was up at LU for just about every event that they’d allow us into – concerts, CFAWs, football games – you name it! I had always loved it here, so it wasn’t a hard decision when it came time to apply for colleges, and I soon found myself heading up to Lynchburg in the Fall of 2011!

Although I only lived on campus a year and was never a part of Student Leadership, I was very involved in student life and activities! One of the most influential parts of my time at LU was two years of serving in a women’s ministry called iYADA. Being a part of that group was so impactful to my life, showing me what true discipleship looks like and teaching me about the Lord and how to grow in my understanding of who He is!

In the last several months, just before and following my graduation, I have been getting to know and working with all of the amazing people who are a part of OSL. I have realized that this office truly stands out in its mission and purpose to minister to the students of Liberty University and to teach them how to do likewise. I am so honored and excited to have been able to join the team and be a part of what goes on in Student Leadership!

Amanda Brandon

In 2010, I moved from Minneapolis, MN to Liberty University. As a freshman I knew that God’s hand was at work in my life as I started my journey on my own and it was very evident that He was calling me to be at Liberty. During my undergrad I enjoyed time in ministry in Student Leadership as a Prayer Leader for a year and two years as a Resident Assistant. I not only got to see the Lord work in refining my life but got to walk along side girls as the Lord led and molded them too.

During my time at Liberty I also met my husband, and in May 2014 we both not only graduated together but got married two weeks later. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a Minor in Psychology and plan to continue my education to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration.

The Office of Student Leadership is one of the best offices to work for and I am very excited to continue working in ministry here at Liberty University for a while longer!

Celine Macdonald

My Liberty experience started in the spring of 2009 after transferring from a local college back home in New Brunswick, Canada. Not being too familiar with Liberty and not having the chance to visit prior to my arrival, I did not know what to expect. What I did know was that God definitely had a plan for me coming. I quickly fell in love with Liberty and the leadership that was displayed on my hall, and I wanted to get involved. I started as a PW then became a PL, then SLD, and RA. I believe in the mission of OSL and believe it can move students dramatically for Christ. I feel honored to have the opportunities that I was given and love working with such amazing people here at OSL!

I met the love of my life, Trenton Macdonald, in high school and we dated for 5 years before getting married on May 19, 2012. Through Liberty, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and was able to practice these skills in the summer ice cream store I managed throughout university. I love being a part of Liberty’s mission by serving and supporting the Prayer Leaders on campus. A verse that is very inspiring to me is Psalm 19:4, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

Korie Honaker

Administrative Assistant

As I walked onto Liberty University's campus, little did I know how much my life would change. I came to Lynchburg from the town of Woodstock, Georgia in the Fall of 2008. First coming to school, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. In all actuality, I did not even know the meaning of life. However, in August of my freshman year, I found the greatest love I've ever known and will ever know and asked Him to become my everything. I asked Jesus Christ to be my reason for life and since that day, life has been so much sweeter knowing Christ as not only my Friend, but also as my Savior, my Passion and my Reason. Since knowing Christ, I realized the passions He placed in my heart. After much prayer, the Lord confirmed my heart for youth and bringing the Good News of the Gospel to the younger generation. For that reason, I pursued my degree in Youth Ministry and a minor in Biblical Studies. I graduated with my Bachelors in Religious Studies: Youth Ministry in May 2013.

I am so grateful for where the Lord has brought me after graduation. Serving as an Administrative Assistant has been wonderful. Working with people who value Christ above all else is truly a refreshment to my soul. And working with an office that strives for the student leaders of Liberty University to succeed by looking at the perfect leader of Jesus Christ, is nothing short of a blessing. I look forward to the future and what the Lord has planned here at the Office of Student Leadership. To HIM be the glory!
