Jones Kaleli is a Kenyan national who was born in a pastor's family. He is an ordained clergy with the Africa Inland Church of Kenya. He met his wife Jeddy at Scott Theological College in Kenya and married in December 1975. They have four children and five grandchildren. Four members of his family are Liberty university alumni.
After his Fuller Seminary training Jones Kaleli has served for over twenty years in several cross-cultural settings. His services to humanity and to the Body of Christ have included pastoral care in different Kenyan local churches; initiated and guided the establishment of several high schools in Kenya, led evangelistic short term missions in several East African countries besides teaching in different colleges and universities in Kenya.
In August 2002, he became the founding provost of Kabarak University in Kenya, a position he served until August 2005 when he joined Liberty University as an Associate Professor in Intercultural Studies.
