Meet the Staff:
Theresa Dunbar
Director of Parent and Family Connections
Theresa came to Liberty with her husband, Bill, in 1976 and has remained a part of the University for the past 30 years, working with students and parents in several different departments throughout the years. Her daughters, Carrie and Lindsay, are both graduates of Liberty University, and her sons-in-law also work on campus. Liberty has been a part of her life for so many years and has been so much more than a job. “This is an extension of my family,” she says. Theresa has always had a love for children, and is a teacher by nature, but as a parent of two college graduates, she feels a deep connection to the parents she is serving. Theresa desires that Liberty is the entire families' university, not just the student! She wants all the parents to feel at home on campus whenever they visit! It is her privilege to serve you as the Parent and Family Connections Director.
Sarah Knudsen
Coordinator of Parent and Family Connections
Sarah is new to Parent and Family Connections, however, she has been a part of the Liberty University family for some time as both a student and employee. Sarah will earn her BS in Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Public Relations from Liberty next May. We are excited to have her join our team and know she will be a great partner in serving our Liberty families!
