Citing Research

There are three primary styles for citing sources of research: APA, MLA, and Turabian. Please be sure you know which style your professor requires before completing your research.

Go to, look up the book you want to cite then click the "Cite/Export" link (shown below).


  • For Citation instructions, please view this informational webcast.
  • If you are unable to view the webcast, please follow these instructions:
    1. Select an EBSCO database.
    2. Do a search.
    3. Click the title of an item you want to cite.
    4. Click the "Cite" link located in the right column and it will show you how the item should be cited in the various citation styles.


  • EndNote software may assist you in managing and producing citations

Note: The citations produced are not always 100% correct, so it is wise to check them with the rules found in the citation manual of the style you are using.
